You must not know how to assemble it correctly then if yours is falling apart on the track. Your doing something wrong. As far as mine, it runs like a clock and I have since put to rest my MP777 which that litterally falls apart on the track as hingpins inner and outer pop e-clips like it is its job. And you dont need much common sense to know how to install a e-clip. LMAO :lol:

I just got my engines back. Remember that Hotmod 421B that I shown the pictures of. Heres the pic



I had it broke in on a dyno. It is a torque dyno that either free rolls or applys pressue to the engine. And I got the results back. This is a legitamate Dyno costing over 40,000 dollars between the breakin machine and electronics and Dyno, so these are REAL numbers. I had A O.S. V-Spec broke in and dynoed on the machine and those numbers read :

O.S. V-Spec
Break in Fuel : Odonnel 20% with Benol Klothz added w/t 8mm insert
Max RPM : 33,809
Max Horsepower : 2.462

Pretty impressive, but wait until you hear the Hotmod 421B horsepower !!!

Max Horsepower : 2.901

:shock: !!!!!!!! That is some serious horespower !!!! Very Impressive. Cant wait to get it in the car !!!

I used to add that klotz to all my OS engines.

only problem I see with thoses dyno figures is you don't have engine temp or fuel mixture readings.

If they were breaking it in were thoses numbers taken at rich break in settings? also what glow plug was used? that will advance or retard the timing and also make a big difference.

on the good side if we compare the Os numbers to RCdriver mag's dyno then you have to add a good 1/2 HP to your hot mod's figures!!! :D

So are you fully stocked up on difs and axles??????

PEAK TORQUE: 104.6 oz.-in.

COMMENTS
This second-generation VZ-B V-Spec is a monster. In the past, O.S. was conservative in the horsepower department for the sake of reliability, fuel economy, ease of tuning and all the other factors that are trademarks of O.S. engines. It appears that O.S. has now unleashed the dogs of war with the V-Spec—an engine with very aggressive specs and performance. It builds on a legacy of superior engines that for years have dominated the nitro landscape in the areas of quality, reliability and tuning. Now we can add massive horsepower to the O.S. dossier, as this .21 engine nearly tops the 3hp mark! The high-revving short-stroke still produces 104.1 oz.-in. of torque and winds up to a staggering 44,000rpm. The V-Spec’s power delivery is just a little peakier than the original version’s, but that’s a small price to pay for a nearly 20-percent power increase.
