Take it easy Pete. Your opinion is welcomed and VALUED here! Please accept my appology if I offended you. That wasn't my intention at all I can assure you. I was just trying to expand on what you said. I'm sure there's PLENTY of people who completely agree with you that the XB8 has to many tweaks to keep track of.

Personally, I don't think I could live without them.

That one awesome looking track Sami L! What are average lap times?

Roberto - the online set-up sheet database is running now very well. You can find all latest set-up here www.teamxray.com/xforum/xsheets.php and you can use search at http://www.teamxray.com/xforum/xsheets-search.php where you will choose XB8 from drop menu and for example enter David Joor in the driver field and all set-ups will be listed. Soon there will be printing possibility.

You can upload your personal set-ups too.

I can not give any other advise then to build the car and run it, this is the best way to find out if you like it or not. Of course it is fair to compare after long term tests when you will know the real difference between the wear and life of Xray and other brands parts.

i have a buddy who has a 777 and after driving another friends xb8 was greatly surprised. with the proper set up it is just as competitive and it is easier to set up.

Thanks to all.

I will be picking up the used XB8 tonight and setting it up on my setup station (HUDY). At the advice of Giorgi50 I will be trying David Joor's previous standard setup (the one that does not require drilling anything), and go from there.

I will follow up with my impressions.

Mario-this site and Xray's support and committment is the reason I want to like the XB8, and although I love the 777, if the XB8 can at least match the driving experience of the 777, I'll be done trying out buggys and stick with the XB8...for NOW anyway!
