I like the action shots, what is the surface on the track? That dirt looks amazing for traction and I bet it holds moisture well.

We call it peat moss :lol:

Its almost not like dirt--kind of weird stuff but you are right its got crazy traction and stays nice and damp for a while. Its great that it never gets hot up here in Alaska (70's once in a while) so the track really never takes a beating with the hot sun

Come on Slim, it beautiful up here, some of the best senic country side, and wildlife in the world.

I didnt chose to live up here-the Air force did :lol:

but I cannot complain one single bit, I love it up here although I dont to get as much racing in as I would like. This is my second 4 year tour up here as I loved it so much the first time I had to get back

Just came back from Charlotte North Carolina. I was at The Coca Cola 600 at Loews Motor Speeday (Nascar Nextel cup race). We were sponsored in by our local track to get pit passes. It was sick. So I got tons of Pics. I know its off subject , but wouldn;t it be nice to have a scaled down engine like this. Ryan Newmans Dodge 800+ horsepower
