XRAY - Model racing cars

I just purchased a new Supervova Competition Charger , It has virtually identical features to a duratrax ice charger or possibly the LRP pulsar pro . It has a 4 step charge mode in which you can select impulse reflex or linear charging . Basically the impulse feature charges at a preset amperage and every 3 seconds it hits the pack with an extra 50% or one and half times the preset amps for half a second . It also has relex charge which can be selected seperately or combined with the impulse method . Does anyone have any experience in these methods and are they better or worse ??? If so what sort of parametres should I set them at for GP3300s? Thanks in advance Dan .
