What Engine are most of you guys using?

Thanks Brandon, I'll do some research on that powerplant tomorrow as I am not familiar with it. I will need more information to sway me in that direction. I'm so analytical about all products that I buy, and you guys are helping me through the process.

After a few days of posts here and there,.. I did figure one thing out, and that is,.. I'm going to give my cash to XRAY for the XB8, too much good press and too many good personal recommendations to ignore it. Kyosho can wait. I'm a Yankee fan so I have plenty of World Championships,

with more on the way.

As for engines :? , I'm kinda leaning towards the O.S. V-Spec. I like the comments about tunability, LHS support, Informative website. Doesn't mean my mind is made up though.

I also have a MAC and an Andy Brown modified P5. Can't speak highly enough about the performance and service from Andy and Michelle at CMDI.

For those tha have run or do run the WS7II how do u like it? did u specificially run it on a large track and in the xb8? how is the tunability and does it like to run hot? thinkin about this engine for my xb8

so decided on the XB8 crzy? ive just been seeing you everywhere RCU now here. BTW the WS7II is a pretty hard engine to tune. although it would be good for a long track. for about the same price the novarossi 421b is prolly easier to tune and will have about the same performance

im not a bad tuner just dont want an engine that will switch tunes on me durring the main :lol:

the RB's at the track are some of the fastest engines ive seen nect to a collari there... where else have you seen me lol

so close to buying the buggy i can taste it :twisted:

already bought mine. just waiting on customs-if xray.RCA would ever give an update :roll:

im gonna be running an OS RG. my buddy has one and its a SICK motor for $110.

and actually collari's can be found pretty cheap- $230 for the 3 port-290 for the 5 port

Hey guys, ive been runnin my xb8 for a month now at my local track Wolcott Hobby in ct, and im using the top 421b motor, i gotta say this thing is fast!!! much faster than my rbw7II! Very easy to tune and runs great!! The xb8 buggy is awesome, hands down the best buggy ive raced, a lot lighter than the mbx5 and handles way better....
