Chris - Glad to hear you got the car to your liking. If you dont mine me asking what type of surface are you guys driving on? Also what type of tires are being used..

Today I couldn't be too happy... 2 tanks on the track and front turnbuckle broke. Spring steel is just not the right material for those places. Softer metal would be ok. Well gotta Dremel some M5 screw...

Well back to business:

I'm possibly going to buy XB8R for spares etc...

-new chassis
-diffs for dif. setups
-shocks for dif. setups
-body, wing, wheels
-soft arms + all kind of small parts
-servo saver

Just thinking that what's the difference between XB8 pins and XB8R pins. XB8 has no clips but from photos could't see are there pins in R and where are they? If i have pins with clip slot can I use em in my XB8?
It's only 395€ now and what i counted chassis, diffs and shocks alone made over 300...

Oh.. and does it include new T-marked gears?

Now XB8R is ordered... Dealer will get his hands on those this week or maybe next monday. Even i have XB8 already this still feels like x(ray)-mas.

New chassis, improved gears, Xray 130% perfect ballbearings, set of differentials and shocks (easy to change on track), soft arms, wheels, body, wing, blue fiber etc etc!!

I'm so excited, I just can't hide it! I don't wanna get addicted to XRay but I think I like it - I like it.

you forgot the drive shafts!:-) BTW my XRAY clutch bell bearings now have a gallon on them and are still perfect.maybe the werks clutch is easy on bearings but in any book that is amazing.

i was just looking to see if the part numbers for the "R" are on this web site yet.

how do you guys cope with sand
we did a display at a local football club and the grass pitch had sand on it my sons car seems ok but for the steering bearings ..mine i think has grinding in all the bearings so i think its a strip and rebuild anyone have any advice !

we are using ws72`s thinks of something different or any suggestions ?

I use a RB C5 it flys idles nice to,huge sink on it run with 086 pipe std clutch 1.0 springs it really rips out of corners some say it bogs down havent had that my self yet but these new shoes might help its a little thirsty so i keep the restictor in.the guys on the rb forums are helpful try them, they set me up on my settings and im happy with it.
