Correct, if you just use the 2 rear holes on the rear chassis brace and leave the front screw out, the brace doesn't have the clearence to allow the chassis flex the same as it would if the brace was shortend to 2 holes, etc. There just isn't enough clearence.
MOST IMPORTANTLY:
It is NOT a night and day modification!
Not like tires are sometimes.
It is an improvement but only on the gnarliest of tracks! If you blaze around hardpack smooth surfaces that aren't blown out.....and you wreck alot, 99% chance you won't feel the difference. If you only run on hella rough surfaces and are looking for that last little bit and can afford another rear chassis brace, by all means buy one and cut the front of the rear chassis brace off just forward of the middle screw hole.
