XRAY - Model racing cars

Hey,

I'm gonna be making the switch from Carpet to outdoor this summer. All my friends went Nitro (so I can't hitch rides to the carpet track, I don't drive) There is construction going on a permanent pavement track and rumor has it that the racer who designed Ripon (former Reedy Race holder) is designing this track too. The surface will be a "tennis court" type surface. Can any of you guys who have raced on tennis courts or like surfaces supply me with good starting setup and anyone who is able to do so, could you give me any tips on my driving or anything tips in general about pavement?

Grip is lower, that's for sure.
So soften your setup is a start.
Secondly the lay-out of the track and the 'smoothness' determine the rest of your setup.
As you do not have details on the layout it's difficult to give directions.
If it is a wide open track I can suggest the setup from TonyV for EVMC (Netherlands) as a good starting point.
If it's more technical maybe the setup for The Hague (Netherlands) works as a starter.

How do the setups transfer from FK05 to the "old car"? Is there any T1FK04 or T1R outdoor setups for DL? (I plan on sticking with my FK04 & T1R for a while. FK05 is out of my budget)
