Hi all,
I have recently noticed that the way we put toe in on the rear of our xray fk04 and fk05's is done by mounting a castor clip on the outside of the bulkhead, depending on how much toe you want , you just put in a bigger or smaller castor clip. I have noticed that over a period of time, the castor clips tend not to be the size they were when you first put them on from new, thus giving you in-consistent toe in. This problem can be over come by simply placing a soild spacer of the same size (3mm for 3degrees toe in etc). Maybe Xray will change this in future kits.

This system of rear toe in is in my opinion the weakest part of the car, having broken three screws and lost two blocks. The angle it works at and the lack of support for the hinge pin (the retaining screw is several mm above the pin) lends itself to bent or broken screws and changes in angles. The clip needs to be wedge shaped and bigger to support the hinge pin.
The engineering in this car and innovative thinking is superb just look at anyones comments on the build quality but this part needs a rethink.

Joep is right, the arm has to move freely around the pivot pin. Also make sure that you have about 0.2-0.3mm front-rear play on the arm when mounted. You can use motor shims to fine tune the play or sand the wheelbase spacers to achieve this. When you mount the arms make sure you lightly push the arm against the pivot holder you are securing so it stays flush with the arm. This will prevent the binding.

I have found that if you swivel the quick change clip down where the hole clip is concealed the mounting will be much more secure and add strength instead of letting the bottom flex in towards the bulkhead. This also helps with the binding issue. Just my 2 cents
