i just want to say i have ben running a top line car for 2 years. i race for a hobbyshop and need to stay with an up to date car.i was looking at the xb8 and was hearing all kinds of horror stories about it.but i went with it anyway. i have one thing to say AWESOME CAR this thing is great, i have raced the car 2 times and did verry well with it. i didnt even practice and it looked as if i were one with the car. great car and great build. never built such a tight kit before...i can say i am way pleased with my decision with chosing the xb8..

The RB Concept one is tried and true:

I really like the Proline gun myself. It's the best I've tried so far.

Looks like the Proline gun has a more pronounced taper to the end where you want it to seal and stop after full. Along with the extended fill vents to keep from overfilling. Like the big trigger as well.

The Kyosho gun (KY36201, 1/8th scale) looks functional.

The RB has the tiny little button for a trigger. Big clunky alum housing,,,no thanks

Some people had complained of the Proline tip hitting the inner tank baffles on some tanks, and then making a mess due to overfill, but I just took a peek at my XB8 tank and the baffles are waay down there. My other tank(Hellfire 150cc) in my MT has the baffles right at the top of the lid. Have to do some trimming there.

Never dealt with a Fuel gun before so this would be a first impression and thoughts.

Proline gets the vote for the XB8 tank for sure.
