speed, actually no one is running a spool at my track. It may have been a bad bearing or I may have hit a board.

It sounds like you may have just got a bad bearing or possibly damaged it in a crash. I ran my Fk for about a year both outdoors and on carpet and only had to replace 1 bearing that I lost in a crash. The fk05 bearings feel and look the same as the ones previously used so its a safe bet that they are the same high grade bearings that have been included in their kits for years.

This last weekend, I had both the inner and outer bearing on one of my front axles "explode" another fk05 racer at the same race had one of his outer bearings explode in the same fashion, like a little piece of the outer race went nuclear or something, here's the remains of both bearings, and you can see the little missing piece:

If it was just me I would attribute it to "one of thos things" ...but since it happened to someone else as well, I'm figureing we're doing something wierd to cause this ...any ideas what could cause this?
