Hinge pins are NOT brittle

I want to make an official statement to make sure there is not created some problem that does not exist.

There was a small batch of hinge pins that were at the upper range of hardness norm but still being in the norm. The upper range of hardness could cause the pins were a bit more brittle and this is the reason some drivers could break the hinge pins in a crash.

After the first feedback that some hinge pin (pivot pin) broke, XRAY immediately adjusted the production proccedure to manufacture the pins rather at the lower range of the hardness norm.

Of course this does NOT mean the pin will last forever and in some extremely hard crash it may happen that the pin will bend (or the arm or something else will break).


Therefore I want to make sure to announce that any latest batches of kits and hinge pins are being made NOT to break and the pins are NOT brittle.
