dont use the small o-rings when assembling the diffs....

Yeah Joor said the difference is 2000. More or less if you have 5000 in the diff , its like having 7000. But personally after rigorous testing I don't feel it is that extreme of a difference. The difference isn't very much. I know becasue if I have 7000 with the orings in the center and its similar to without. And I tryed 10000 in the center with no orings and the thing is UNCONTROLLABLE!!! Absolutely no give!! I don't know, I could be wrong becasuse im always inconsistent because I'm always swapping motors, so it could be a lot of different factors. So I may not be right , I'm just telling you my personal expeirience. Now that I put this Max Power in im gonna have to lower my diff wieght for more give as the thing is overpowered :shock:

That is kind of why I would suggest not using the o-rings for Lingcod. Since he is new to 1/8th scale, this will take away one variable for him to worry about, IMHO.

Hey, just noticed that your in Port Jefferson. I was born on Long Island, Comak (spelling)? Didnt' live there very long but have a lot of family on the Island still. Was thinking about trying to get up there this summer to see some family and possibly race. How is the racing on the Island?

Also What does BTW mean. ifd you could help me out I would really appreciate it as it bugs me to figure out what they mean.
