for the record I ran my fk05 for the first time Saturday. I used the basic set-up with light blue springs in front with white in the back. Put the car on the track and found it very close but with some understeer. Switched the diff from low to high (I wanted to see what and how much would change) and then the car was a touch loose. Went back the other way with wheelbase and damping changes and Won the A main. While I agree totally with what this change does, my observations suggest this is a pretty powerful tool and maybe a bit course for what I would consider finishing touches to a chassis that needs only minor changes. One experiment however is not enough data points, YMMV.
cheers and thanks for the response,
