XRAY - Model racing cars

Right, current set up, Xray X12. HPI Flux Pro 10.5 motor. Hobbywing xerun 2.1 speedo, Reedy 7000mah lipo batteries, 76 spur 41 pinion. Rollout of 74.5

I managed to finish 6th in the C Final on Saturday. My best finish to date this season. Clean run, handled well, and no big mistakes. However It seemed to be very sluggish with no real acceleration through the infield too compared to most other cars. I dont think I could get many more laps out of the car due to the lack of speed.

How can I get more speed? is it the motor? Gearing? I could probably be a bit tighter round the corners and a bit more consistent but I want to be faster, straight line speed.

Any advice?

75 rollout is what we run using 13.5's so you might need to go down in pinion size.
I'm afraid I don't know how much less as I never ran 10.5 1/12's, but perhaps try 65mm rollout

I love this game really amazing graphics and all. To writers I would suggest you to check for free papers like A1,A2,A3 etc.
