US Carpet Nats XRAY dominates & wins 2 out of 3

RC America brings the XRAY USA team to the upcoming Carpet Nationals.

Carpet Nats 05 March 17th -20th
As a tradition, the On-Road Carpet Nationals is one of the largest and last of the big races of the indoor season. The event this year is held at Hobby Chamber in West Haven, CT., on a 100' X 50' track. This National race brings drivers of all talents from all over the country from many different teams to compete on carpet with foam tires. Sedans run for five minutes at blistering speeds making it an event to watch or follow here at RC America with daily updates. Check back for reports, pictures, and videos.

On Wednesday in afternoon a free practice was on schedule. Ralph Burch took one of the fastest lap times, giving a solid starting point for the coming qualifying heats.

Thursday: Open and Controlled Practice
Today was a successful and eventfull practice day for team XRAY. RC America driver Mike Dumas, driving the new FK05, is looking very strong in the modified sedan class. Ralph Burch is also making waves on the track with some lightning speed lap times - despite some mishaps with traffic. Overall, team Xray is layin' it down! - particularily our stock boys Peter Robinson, Alex Lopez, Andrew Ellis, Mark Smyka and Mark Strasnick.
