Can't on mine as its the original servo saver. I am a little concerned that if you build a t1 with c-hub, any it seems its likely with a front ball diff you can replicate the problem. These are the interchangable parts ?

Maybe its the diff height etc or the shaft length of the mounting location, as the one-way has short diff outdrives. I am perplexed to whats going on and i have used every spare in my box !

Maybe john is right, but i think this vibration although dulled by the ground and not as obviously apparent it will still be vibrating none the less causing a strange handling effect !

I might cut down an old ball diff out drive (broken internally) to make the same length as the oneway.

Guys, reading through all of this I think John's comments make the most sense. Especially his last one w/r to the steering linkages. What I would be interested to know from those that have the problem is what if any spacers you are running underneath the steering linkages and if you have used any spacers on the steering link mounting to the servo saver. My thinking is that the problem might be caused by bump steer... BTW, also need to know the front top link mounting position and any spacers used there and the front lower arm inner mounting positions.

No spacers, upper link was middle hole now closest did it on both :( standard t1 servo saver etc... Concerns me that a newly built fk05 does it for peter on the other fk05 thread. My fk05 doesn't atm as it is uk spec with multi diff, but i bought a standard diff with it and expect the same problem on a brandnew car? One day i will have an answer but probably not before everyone else

Col, do me a favor and test what happens when you use 1mm, 2mm and 3mm spacers underneath the steering link. I'd be interested to know this.

On the FK05, 3-4mm spacers will give the right angle to minimize bump steer with the basic setup (the basic FK05 setup sheet indicates 4mm). Unfortunately the build instructions don't show any spacers here, so it may well be that Peter built the car without spacers. A 4mm difference will cause a huge difference in bump steer which could very well account for the vibration in the manner that John explained.
