Hello,

I just finished building it. As always the quality is the best!

I have some questions though.

1. The Multi-Diff when installed on the car there is quite a lot play of it right/left. When holding the pulley and move it left/right, the whole diff moves too. Anyone else have the same issue?

2. Since, my previous car is a Tamiya and I love their shocks is there something I can do to install them on my FK05?

3. I have seen many people having direct servo saver, if I glue FK's will I get any performance advantage?

Thank you

Nick

There is nothing wrong with XRAY shocks. All the factory drivers use the standard stock shocks included in the kit and they simply work perfectly.

Yes, there is nothing wrong with the shocks BUT they are not blue like my Tamiya's ! :):)

Can you comment on the other questions too that are more important?

Thank you

Nick

Sorry guys, but I hated Xray shocks. Plastic bodies would split when rear ended. Xray is the only major company that is still using plastic shocks and when someone pays $400 for a kit, they should get the precision and durability of aluminium shocks.

Sorry for venting.

well i'm sorry you feel that way but it's a known fact that the plastic xray shocks offer smoother dampening, as compared to aluuminum ones, plus they are easily rebuildable, externaly adjusted, and never leak and i mean ever. we have guys at are track who have never built there shocks in 5 or so years and when they finaly did it was to change oil weight, when they took them apart they were just as good as when they first put them together. and idk how you managed to break a shock body we have only broke one in 5 years and it was a fluke, we have over 10 xrays at our local hobby shop and only one broken shock body, and only 3 people running alluminum bodys(from xray)just to let you know what we run we run a tight carpet oval at speeds over 20+ 6 cars at a time, only one broken body. not puting you down just suporting my favorite rc car company, with the highest quality cars and parts out there.

I installed on mine 112 from kimbrough. I tried 116 but it was too tight and it went too low so I was afraid that might get ruined when going over a curb! :) Maybe when and if I get the 3mm chassis!!

The problem now is that the spur isn't true and being wider than xray's there is one point that it touches the motor mount! :) So I need to disassemble it and fit another spur!:(

Another point I forgot to mention earlier is that one of the 302032 were all round thus not being able to fit in the plastic. Fortunately I had one spare from my previous X-Ray! :) How did that happened??
