XRAY - Model racing cars

In answer to 1, no it doesn't but Its hard to tell, any wheel on there causes it to happen. So its not the wheels parsay, but a small vibration in the wheel axel that is accentuated by the wheel itself.

i will unscrew the entire front bulk head when at home and roll the diff, but unfortunately don't expect to find anything Thanks for help tho, will keep you posted. I was just hoping a team driver made a mistake somewhere and had this prob

I am not sure but they may be a little play to move the wheel axel diagonally :/

In fact not sure where these bearings came from :S maybe i will quickly try the bearings outof the fk05 one day :/

Changed rear belt still no luck !

Tried holding parts with the transmitter set to produce the problem (lol don't have any xray drivers to help)

By pushing all front end parts i can feel the wobble, but can't stop it by holding anything :/

I have noticed although its not binding or catching that on full lock it tends not to want to turn could this be the cause ?

It does indeed send the whole car into a shudder, it also scrubs so much speed so i am just over driving the car

which is why i am getting the fk05, as no one had mentioned this problem on an FK !

Tony no binding ? Although something weird is happening at the axel end of the drive shafts i think ? At the point where the pin is at 45 deg and the driveshaft coupler at 45 the other / \ it doesnt want to go up or down as much ? is that normal, is this the problem ? Relatively new drive shafts and i tried different pins etc :/

I'm sorry Col, I really don't get it and judging by Keith's comments I am in good company in that. All I can think of is that it has to be something that happens with the drive shafts, either at the coupling between the drive shafts and the axle (most likely) or at the diff end.

The one thing that I would think was the problem without having seen it myself is that the drive shaft hits the axle at full lock in the indentation that is used to remove the C-clip holding the axle. But I believe you guys already went over that.

Anyway I don't think it is the drive train itself. What you see in the drive train is the result of a resonance building up somewhere else at a frequence that makes the belt jump around. Possibly running the belt one notch tighter or looser will help resolve the sympton and the negative effects on handling as it would change the frequency that the belt will start jumping around at...
