XRAY - Model racing cars

My Robinson Racing spurs didnt fit, they werent the correct mounting positions, would be fine on the old Evo2 6/8 hole mount, but on the 3 hole, its a bit of a pain in the bum.
Have you made your own holes so they fit or have i ended up ordering the wrong ones (werent hand picked, so i couldnt tell at that stage)
Any part numbers would be a big help though

Im pretty sure i went with the Super Machined versions:

Couldnt find anything on RW asside from some bits on 'KTHobbies' website, so im not sure i know who RW are.
Any pointers would be appreciated

i have bought spur gears before that didnt fit so i attaced them to an old layshaft and put a pointed tip in my soldering iron and melted a little hole through the holes of the layshaft then drilled it throught so it fitted

the chassis, bulkheads and upper brace are obvoiusly different form the 04 factory kit, but does the 05 share the same suspension arms, c hubs and carriers?

Yes all the suspension parts are the same which is great if you've already got spares

I see that alot of people use RW spurs, the white colour and how thin they are gives it away.

Anyway I must have the old versions, they fit fine on the T1 but dont fit on the FK 3 hole adapter for the layshaft. I did what Chipmunk did and they are fine.

actually, i do not care to have the 05tk. i am only concearned with parts availability for the 04. i cannot see the reason for such a dramatic change to a chassis, and the inline battery setup seems to be a disadvantage to me for balance of the car. why was xray so hasty in changing the layout of the car?

I am still using the xray t1 2001 ? Parts will not be a problem
