Hi All,

I've been doing a little research on this but can't find anything concrete. I currently have my rear shocks mounted in the front position as per the manual default, but I was wondering what the effect of moving them to the rear of the tower/wishbones will be? I'm trying to dial in a setup for a low/medium grip carpet setup. I'm fairly happy with where it is at the moment, just a little bit of further refinement required and was wondering if this might be worth trying.

Cheers!

Chris

Moving the shocks rearward would be for extreme slippery tracks. Like a dry, light colored, non cared for baseball diamond. Noone uses that feature on groomed tracks, especially carpet.

Good evening,

I also had to read it a couple of times....

At the rear; Front shock position- LOW TRACTION....and I was reading it as; I have to put the shocks in the front in LOW TRACTION conditions....

But the opposite is "true" as it seems....

Greetzzz

Hello

Moving shocks to front you will have more corner speed with less roll. On 99% of tracks we use shocks in front.
Shock in rear will give to car more roll so it has effect more traction.

Some times it can feel good to have shocks in back but lap times says no.
