I run a T4 2014 platform.

On my last race, on a hot track (Temp track 60°C), I have tried to keep my Volante 36R tires temperature on control during the 5 minutes races, but without complete success.

My car was the quickest for the first 3 minutes, but after it feels slower, but still well balanced. I tried narrower track width (with alu wheel hub -0.75mm). The car was fast for a bit longer time, but still the same temp problem at the end of the run.

My set-up :
ride height : 5mm front & rear
Droop : 6 front and 5 rear (STD)
Front camber : 1.5°
rear camber : 2°
Roll center : -1mm front and -1mm rear
Track width : front and rear STD or -0.75mm alu hub.
Shock : PSS front & rear with 400 oils, spring 2.5-2.8 front and 2.3-2.6 rear.
Spool for the front and diff with 4000cps oil on the rear.
Anti-roll bar : 1.4 front & 1.3 rear.
LTCR -01 for the body

So any suggest to get a constant fast run ? Harder diff ? More droop ? Less flex ?

Hello, do all 4 tires get overheated or only the fronts? Usually it is the fronts that get overheated before rears, leaving you a car with understeer- still easy to drive but slower. Cause of this is using too much steering lock in my opinion. So make changes to your car to have more steering, and then try to drive the car with less steering angle by your hand.

Maybe reducing rear toe in half a degree to get more rotating car, and then use maximum lock only when needed- like sharp hairpins.

thanks for your reply. You may be right as it seems that the front overheat first.

I will try less rear toe in as I can't have more steering angle.

I would like to test 7000 cps oil on the rear diff, but I don't want to have a tricky car on the beginning of the run.

400 oil with PSS sounds quite soft. What brand are you using?

Also, do you have the foam in the top of the shock? For higher temperature, I found putting it in to help, especially with PSS.

Hello. Do not forget check the speed control and motor temperature. If you race with high hot conditions... I think you must checked it. Too high turbo timing for example make it get up a lot of the temperature, then you low your performance.
