XRAY - Model racing cars

I notice that Hagberg's T4 always use 110 spur gear/27 Pinion for all kind of track (Large / Small). May I know the reason why??

Im no Hagberg but what I believe is nowadays most people often prefer adjusting boost/timing on speedo rather than changing the gearing according to the track.

You might also find that as it can vary so much depending on electrics used, that they might not bother giving their true gearing
