Hi guys
Drive shaft piping out my XB8e-15 but not my XB8-15
Read many post on various sites.
I am totally shocked that hudy/X-ray can supply a kit with an obvious design fault.
I own a XB8-15 that's supplied with the extended cups for this obvious reason.
Today one little bash about our local track and pop shaft out, just pop it back in and two minutes later same issue, only a bent driveshaft now.
S**T is the word I'm looking for X-ray sort yourselves out.
I have been a fan of your kits for years owned most, right now I'm just sick of all the faults XB4-15 wrong diff housing, then made to jump through hoops to get a replacement. Poor quality hudy steel components.
When you going to do a replacement of the diff out drives and replace all the damaged parts from your inferior design fault.
Trading standards and not fit for purpose spring to mind

Best Rgds Bob Berty

Just as a new note if it was a real car and you get three faults of the same item and product campaign is mandatory, if it's safety related it's mandatory product recall.

Hurry up and sort a fix for all the guys that have bought your products in good faith of a product that's fit for the purpose it was intended for.

This happens during a crash when the front arms are in middle and outter positions. If the arms are in the inner positions this does not happen. To eliminiate this situation the optional longer diff outdrives #355061 can be used.

Please email us your SN and email address at info@teamxray.com and where you have purchased the kit, we will look into this matter.

A quick solution is to decrease the downtravel and in extreme situations to place the front lower arms into the inner positions.

Hi Guys thanks for the response.

I just ordered the parts to match my XB8-15 nitro, not happy but there you go.

@ X-Ray these parts should be part of your std kit in my opinion.

Hello,
I have the same trouble.
The front Drive shaft go out next to a shock.
Some times, the shock absorber stay stranded.

Sorry, my english is not good.

Bonjour,
J'ai le même probleme.
Les cardans avant on tendance a sortir de la noix, suite a un choc (même pas violent).
Parfois, la suspention reste coincée enfoncée :x
