Hi,

I have been looking at the set-up sheet for carpet and notice that it says not to use the o-ring on the shaft when building the shocks, why is this & what difference does it make?

It means no additional external o-ring (which would be used to limit up-travel and act as a bump-stop).

You always need to use the o-ring that goes in the bottom of the shock; that's the only thing that keeps the oil in.

Thanks, that makes sense, I couldn't see how it would work without the inner o-ring.
