Can anyone tell me if the X12 '15 is lighter than the X12 '14?

I can never get my X12 '14 down in weight. I am always 40g over the competition (no one in the top 5ish in Stock around my area run XRay because of this) and can't get it down. I have bought the lightest servo and battery I could find, run 16awg wires with my ORCA VX1, have the titanium screw kit and have even tried just servo-taping the servo and not using the mounts and still can't get it down. And yes I am running the light weight Protoform body with a minimal paint job.

I'm about to order a different car, but if the X12 '15 is lighter I may stick with XRay.

Luke

Yep. No longer an issue as I've sold the car though.

My 2015 is 10 grams underweight with ORCA TX motor, VX3 esc (even with a fan), ORCA battery and Sanwa SRG-HR servo. I am using titanium and aluminum screws throughout though. The 2014 is 5-10 grams heavier. I can't recall why. I am using TQ 16 gauge wires.
