bodies on fk'05

hi,does my fk04 bodies fit on the new fk'05 or not?
Must i re-cut them?

is the prototype so different? alex stocker got one. he dont made any new bodies...!

Martin are you sure? from the photos i have seen they are exactly the same holes and same schock towers.........
if they are really different there will be any problem mounting the fk'04 towers on fk'05 ?

The shock towers and front bumper are the same but the bulkheads are different, so the rear tower and front bumper could be in different places.

I think if you look on this link you will see that the second and third post (TonyV) state that the old bodies fit straight on.

Hi Guys,

Old bodies fit perfect on the new car. You might have to make an extra hole for the antenna! I'm running the new car for a month and I'm still using my FK04 bodies!

Hmmm, this is going to be interesting, team drivers not agreeing on the body post locations :wink:

I checked the position of the shock towers between the FK04 and my FK05 prototype and... they are in the same position. I haven't received the production parts yet so there may have been a change in those but I doubt it. Then again, Martin is part of the design team, so I would expect him to know better than I do
