Gear Ratio 13.5 T blinky mode

Usually, I am running 17.5 T where the maximum gear ratio is limited to 5.00.

Any recommendation what gear ratio I should use for 13.5 T in blinky mode
on carpet (DHI Cup Denmark)?

It is a LRP X20 13.5 T motor with the fixed Timing Sensor Set and as I mentioned only blinky mode is allowed.

In Italy with 13.5 BLINKY MODE with LRP X 20 use advance 35 with 4.7 final gear ratio in medium/fast tracks vith LRP FLOW notimng...

Pier,

in the user manual they recommend for the 13.5 T a gear ratio of 6.0:1.
I know, it is a starting point, but that is way off what you and also others recommend.

Someone put advance 30 reverse here in Italy,Mounted in the opposite direction and 4,7 final gear ratio....very very fasst!!!!no temperature problems in medium track..

Hi Pier,

we tested 4.7:1 last week at a carpet track in Beerfelden/Odenwald. I was very satisfied with the outcome.
Great performance and a temperature of about 60 degrees after a 5 minute run.

i run on a large track (100ft straight) and found 3.4 with 37.5 timing to be fast,gearing is either 39/70 giving 3.41 (sons car)
or 38/68 giving 3.40 my car,both very equal but i think my gearing pulls out of the corners better,this is 48dp
