A friend of mine received an original T1 from another guy at our track. It has the pivot ball suspension and the aluminum serpent style shocks (front shorter than the rear.)
I have a Raycer.
I had a few extra springs and shock towers as his needed replacing. So here are the questions.

What would be the best, most economical path to take?
New shock bodies and pistons?
Just new bodies and new rear pistons?
New towers?
Anything else?

What is your intention with the upgrade? Do you want to upgrade your T1R or your friend's T1? Do you want to upgrade to higher version or just some option parts to improve the performance? To be honest, to upgrade to the FK or FK'05 will be pretty much difficult and also expensive for you as you will need to purchase plenty of parts.
Please advise what you look for and we will try to help.

I just bought new suspension set ? :S

to be cheaper would be the plastic set and the rods, but then u may need different o rings etc, Me personally i didn't want the hassle so just bought the set ?
