XRAY - Model racing cars

Hello everybody

This season I will for the first time in my 20 years of RC racing go for 1:8 Buggy. Of course with a Xray.

I'm almost finnish building the car and it is super high quality - but following the topics and writing at this forum I find very little on special setup's and other hint's to make the car work better on the track. I would like som pro's to give tips and very much also arround o-rings in the diff's and what oil to use in them. The standard say's no o-rings in the rear diff and 1000 w oil, front and middle with o-rings and 7000 w oil.

Please let me know if there are some things that I can do up front to make the car work perfect the first day I put it on the track.

Proline tires are awesome,...very popular in the states and you can get them premounted / preglued,.. the crimefighters and knuckles

I think 5-7-3 or 5-7-2 is the better diff setup. I prefer 5-7-2

A lot of guys are using the stock Xray clutch as is out of the box without any proplems,... start with the 1.0 clutch springs. If you are using an engine like the RB WS7II it requires a little more input for clutch, pipe, and header.
