XRAY - Model racing cars

from the picture it looks like your packs does not fill the whole tray in width is that correct? i use max amps and gens and they fill the battery tray in width but in the length it seems the same as yours.

The XB9E body is based on the 808E body with modifying the area around the battery and body mounting. Since the XB9E is compatible back with 808E and also the 808E with small modifications fit the XB9E we keep the same part number for the XB9E body like it was for the 808E, so the part number is 359705. The XB9E body will have symbol on the headercard V2. The new V2 body starts shipping these days so will take time until they get available in the shops.

1/8 Elo is not the focus of Xray as you can see now. The car itself is good, no arguing about it, but all other things concerning the car is a mess.

Let's see what car is "in" next year.

This is no surprise..

I agree with SvenRu, the XB9 is a very good basis but Xray doesn't seem to care about the XB9E so much.

I bought mine right when it came out and we considered buying a second one because my girlfriend is racing with me but looking at how the things go there are some chances we will look for another brand. For most people the spirit of a brand is not so important but for us it is. My JQ is far from being as good as an Xray in many ways but at least I feel respected and supported by the team.

I'm sure the buggy is good, but again there is no way the release could have been worse.

Oh and btw "in my part of the world" nobody drives an xray, at least in 1/8 electric offroad. I was actually one of the only driver promoting the brand in Belgium, it's a small country and in racing we all know each other

Now that the "new" body is the "old" 808E body, what would be a bit more spacious body instead of the JC XB9 nitro Finnisher?
I like the modern look of the JC Finnisher but would like more space in the back and also on top of the battery if possible.

Is there some more bodies that is tested IRL and with som photos with the dual body post in the back.

And to XRAY (or someone else), can we PLEASE have a good picture of the 808E V2 body painted ????

Wonder why Xray did not use the 2013 Chassis instead. The 2013 Chassis seems to have a straighter drive train which induces less wear on the driveshafts and allows less friction, more free rolling off throttle.

Does anybody know how the quality is on the Xray bodies compared to the cheaper Jconcepts ?

I would also like to know if it has more or less room for batteries. The Jconcepts is a tight fit IMO.
