XRAY - Model racing cars

Can anyone explain to me what i should expect the effect to be of running shims between the front hubs and the steering arms?
I realise it is ackerman that im changing but not really sure why im doing it.

No, your changing bump steer by adding shims on the front hubs.

It's supposed to add mid corner steering.

Just setting up the car ready for BTCC round one but had some problems last time i used it so i'm starting from scratch lol.

2mm bumpsteer spacing should be a good starting point for outdoors.

Adding more spacers gives bump-steer (and therefore roll-steer) so should give more mid-corner steering. But it will make it harder to drive over bumps, curbs etc.

Like been said before, more mid corner steering and the car will be harder to drive as a result. 2-3mm is the ideal setting for most asphalt tracks.
