Question the Graphite chassis inserts, dose any body use them? as mine do not fit or sit in tight they are free to move up, and the little fixing tabs don't fit in the slots on the chassis any ideas on these's inserts, as ive been running my car with out them so far 3 race meetings

They decrease chassis flex which can be useful for very high traction conditions. Try to use the insert only in the front for a start, which will remove a bit of front grip.

Do these inserts also improve the ground effect?

I never thought about it, thanks for bringing this up. Yes by theory this should reduce drag from underneath the chassis.

Once I have driven with my 1/8 a full sized chassis plate (epoxy screwed against the original chassis) with only holes for the flywheel and tires and it is amazing how much grip you have, already before 2nd speed it acted like a slotcar.

Thanks for the info. I will do more testing with the chassis inserts in the future.
