Ok I have just put together my NT1 2011 model and I have my shocks all done but when installing the silver standard springs the rear shocks are okay but the front short springs seam too short as I have to screw the collar almost off to get any tension on the spring, any ideas on what's up ?? I did notice that in the build notes is said not to use the ball joints from the parts frame 309330 and to use part 308316 umm where is this part?? Any help would be great

You should use the short ball joints. How much droop are you using? If too much or too little the preload will be messed up.

Yes that would work but the shocks aren't even installed and the springs are loose, when installed I can only get two to three threads on the collar or the spring just flops around, these spring seam to be 3-4mm too short, I have the car set to the exact basic set up, I did use the short ball joints as that was all that was in the kit.

The front springs for NT1 are 22mm long and the rear ones are 26mm long.

Well my front springs are 19.3mm long, my rear springs are spot on, so do you think my spring are incorrect length for the front? I would assume not

The minimal lenght of the front springs should be 21.5mm, please check again the lenght. Do you have a brand new NT1 2011 edition or second hand? as in year 2010/2011 XRAY does not offered such short springs.
