I just bought the T4 and got it completely built. Starting now to set it up. My question is this: What is the correct way to adjust the aluminum cap on the shock body? Do I adjust it until it places tension on the spring or should I adjust it some what tighter then that. I am using the springs that came with the kit.

Thanking you in advance concerning this question.

the collars adjust ride hight only not spring tension. you need different springs for that but most people are using 2.7 front 2.5 rear

The preload directly affects chassis ride height. A good starting point for ride height with 62mm big rubber tires is 5mm front and 5.3mm rear. The spring should have some tension on it with this setting but not a lot. The rear spring can be free and even have play if you use a lot of droop and when unloaded.
