Hello, driving the T4 modified and i am very satisfied with the car.

At Longwy Race France last weekend i test the BD5 of Top Driver Yannic Prümper for fun.
My car has much less mid corner rotation at the curb and a bit less on-power steering.

The Grip was high, the Track was very close to ETS Style tracks, the Tire was LRP CPX.
The car of Yannic rotates very fast around those well known "yellow dots" as you know them by the ETS.

With less Toe-In in the rear it got better but very difficult to drive and even less on-power steering.
I change to softer 2.5 Spring to get some more overall front traction but i wasnt pleased.

Looking forward to hear your ideas.

Greetings

Can you fill out a setup sheet and post a link here so we can look at what you have so far.

Have you tried 2.5 or 2.7 springs at the back?

I only use the progressives when the grip is low.

I would also try more bump steer 3 or 4mm

Hello,

U would try to remove THE anti dive.
It reduces THE weight transfer to THE front And gives less steering.
You could also try;
1.3 rear anti roll bar
2.5 - 2.8 spring rear
2.7 spring front
If you have enough in-corner steering, try a little longer front camber link (middle position).

Greetz Eric.

For CPX tires we like to use the progressive 2.5-2.8 springs front and rear. Most of the team are using 300-400 cst oil with 4x1.1mm pistons.

Personally I prefer a middle position front link and short rear.

Diff oil usually 2-3000K.

Anti-dive is a nice tuning option for fast and flowing tracks.

Less rear toe gives better forward traction but less side bite.

Use at least 5.6 front and 4.6 rear droop. Sometimes, even more droop can work, especially in the rear.

Alex, what would you change for the same tyres and track etc if the grip was lower?

Thanks

For low grip, you should try more rear droop. Even 4 in the rear seems to work for some tracks.

Softer front shock oil compared to rear, maybe 50-100 cst difference, makes the car drive more stable through chicanes etc. especially in low grip conditions.
