Yes but a harder front damping makes the car understeer when accelerating hard and/or early out of hairpins and in the rear it takes rear traction so I would try the harder rear ARB first as slow corner exit would destroy the lap at least at our small track. I think a slightly harder rear ARB takes away less rear traction than harder damping by keeping up the forward bite. I'll report on sunday.

What trackwidth front and rear are you usually running on carpet, Skiddins?

I like softer dampening better as I could see how my car rolls and I can see when the tires starts to lift. With harder dampening, the car just traction roll without any signal and I can do nothing about that. With harder dampening car gets more steering. But to be honest, it does not have to be always like that. It depends on carpet and tires used as well. When I start to have a problem with traction roll, I use softer springs in front to get less steering, also I glue the front sides of the tires. Also I reduce downstop from 6 and 5 to 5.6 and 4.6. Offset in the front will help as well and harder rear diff too. I also use more shims on the front upper linkage, 1.5 above the C-hub and 2.5 above the upper clamp. Simply when you start to have problem with traction roll, you need to decrease in-corner steering

T4 shocks are brilliant in operation, and found them the easiest Xray shocks ive built yet. You lucky sods with all this traction, I must race on the lowest grip carpet track out there. :( No sign of traction roll ever. And unlike the track mentioned where you trip with the traction, we could moonwalk quite easily on ours!

I'm running the 2.3-2.6 progressive springs to get grip general grip and i'm back to kit diff oil to try and get car out of corners after running 2000-3000 on the T3 2012 outdoors all year.

Probably we have that grip because it's a non-permanent track and so we roll the carpet on a pillow each week for six days whick packs the whole thing. Maybe we shouldn't allow additives on this carpet any longer. :)

After testing on friday and saturday, now the car is still a little "harmful" but way easier to drive. Always in mind: SUPER high traction and non-side-glued ETS tyres. I used 2.5-2.8C front springs, 1.6mm front and 1.4mm rear ARB, front 4x1.2mm pistons, 2000 cSt diff oil and rear 2° camber. Everything else was kit. The body now was the PF Mazda speed 6 normally cutted with the wing big and backward mounted (before it was the PF P37-R). Didn't have time in the end for trying .75mm offset front hexes and front anti-dive with maybe 6° caster blocks.

But the car was super fast even with not being able to push 100% yet.
