I'm having a problem building the servo saver for the T4. I can't seem to get the springs fitted into the saver. It seems as if the gap in spring 1 is too small.



Anybody any suggestions?

I use pliers to install the springs. Maybe you can try to mount the springs to the servosaver arm first. Some drivers say that in this way they can mount the springs easier

I will give it a try and let you know.

I had trouble building mine.

I managed to get all 4 pieces onto the part shown (with difficulty) and put that onto the servo

I then pushed the other part against it and twisted it as if the servo saver was operating in an impact.
This pushed the springs one way then the other and it all slotted together.

Problem solved. I used pliers to (force) open the gap in spring 1 just a little bit further and now it fits like a charm. Thanks for the advice guys.

Omg, this is another part where i feel a bit perplexed...

Do I need to be popeye to get these metal rings together?

The first c ring doesnt sit onto the plastic of the servo saver, as a result the other 4 dont allow the whole assembly to fit together, so the outer insert doesnt sit straight.

Does the 1st c ring have to be fully wrapped around the inner part of the plastic/composite internal circle part?

Might have to break out some mole grips at this rate?!

Any tips as to where im going wrong?

it is essential!!! that you do not use the T4 manual to install the c clips in the way of mounting them only to one piece - you should install both parts together and then put the c rings on!!!

Jeez, I was almost breaking blood vessels trying to get those damn c rings on
