XRAY - Model racing cars

I started building the new T4 kit today and discovered an issue with my chassis. I believe the two holes for the 2-piece alloy rear pivot block mount aren't straight.

If you look closely at the picture, the front of the alloy part sticks out more than the rear, this means that the pivot blocks themselves are slightly too close together which pinches the wishbone so it won't move freely.
The one on the left side in the picture actually angles out slightly to allow for the toe-in.

It actually looks slightly worse in real life. If you look at the line of the carbon weave it stands out more.

After taking some measurements, I think it's the more rearward of the two mounting holes, it's too close to the centreline of the chassis.

please try to untight the screws that holds 2-piece mount, and turn the the mount into opposite direction and while holding it, tight the screws again. The mount is angled but into oposite direction. Please let me know if it helps. The holes are made according to the CNC program so all holes and all chassis should be the same.

Yep, holding the mount with a 5mm spanner did the trick.

Just remember to do those mounts before the layshaft so you can get at them.

great to hear that problem is solved. The holes are made slightly bigger to make sure that the screw can go freely through the hole.
