Hi guys, my car oversteers alot to the point of spinning when i intiailling accelerate out of a corner, if i keep a steady throttle on the whole way round the corner the car gets round but obviously this isnt very fast. The track is quite low grip and is a reasonably fast circuit.

I have tried different settings for almost all the suspension ie springs and droop etc etc, but none of these really made a big enough impact, i have recently been changing diff oil weights, stiffening the front and lightening the rear seems to improve it but its still not very good. Im running with 37 shore tyres all round and a 2mm split between them front to rear. I was thinking of going to an even harder front diff and even softer rear than my current setting sof 150k front 30k rear, but i dont know if this is a good idea or not.

I also wonder if the porblem is something else like the clutch, its set up with 0.6 gap and 1.7mm preload, someone suggested to me i should gear my 1st gear up a bit to reduce the inital wheelspin?

Id be very appreciative if anyone could help as im leading the championship at the moment and if my car was better i could have it sown up by end of the month!

Your diffs seem OK, What are your other setup value`s? like spring rates, shock oil and droop.
Reduce your preload will help i think depending on what clutch setup you have with the spring used.
Reducing the droop value or having more droop in the front will help also but you will have a wider turn rate powering out off the corner. You can play also with RollCenter value`s. What is your Toe -in in the rear?

Hi, rest of my set up is pretty much standard, shocks, springs, droop, roll bars ackerman etc all standard, like i say i had changed most of the adjustments in both difrections to try to improve it but to no avail. I did try backing the preload spring off a tiny bit last time and it did seem to help but i was worried about perhaps going too far with it so i left it as it was.

My rear toe in is 3 /3.5 , i also sort of wonder am i driving it wrong, i tend to drive up to the corner, lift off, turn and after the apex while still steering I accelerate, but i have messed about and sometime it seems that accelerating throught the corner keeps it more balanced but it seems quite un natural, maybe i just need to push it harder and throttle on through the corners?
