Front Toe vs. Rear Toe (asphalt open track)

Hello everybody.

What do you think about this track?

Asphalt has a lot curves with need a lot of steering in the middle of the corner.

I think try to put 2.5º rear toe. But in front? to get more steering in the middle of the corner?

Another ideas?

Hi Ruben,

I always prefer less rear toe-in like 2°-2.5° and for the front toe-out I prefer 1°-1.5°. When seeing this track layout I would start with a little more caster compared to the kit setup.

For more mid corner you could try more bump steer, 3mm or more

Just looked again at Alex Hagbergs warm up, he was using 5mm bump steer!

More bumpsteer gives a lot more mid corner steering on asphalt. Try it! It will make the car more difficult to drive however. On carpet I never like to use more than 1.5mm.
