Hi Dave, yeah I know what it should be, and the info on the updated manual page is correct - but the downloaded pdf is wrong....

Hello everyone. First post for me. I am ordering the XB9 and have a question.

Looking at a few of the setups, I am noticing that quite a few people are using other manufacturers springs. I am wondering why this is? With the quality of the xray, why would you not want to use their springs also?

The Xray springs are great and thats what I always end up useing and I have tried them all and have them on hand but IMO Xray springs are better for my setup. The stock spring are to soft for me to use in the summer.

Could you teach me Spring of Savoya's setup sheet at Astra.
That description says 3 stripe.
How Xray product code is that?
Is it progressive prototype spring?

Looks like the wrong type of servo. Airplane servo?

I use only Hitec servos, the 7955 and 7950.

Hi,

if possible then always use the shock absorbing rubbers supplied with the servos. If it sits too low, still, you have to use the composite servo lifting plates supplied with the XB9 kit.
In the PDF manual it's page 31 > 10. radio case > part# 356120 in the exploded view.

When I read and read and read forums about xb9, all the time I read that people are making a lot mod or using another brand parts in its xb9 shocks. springs, piston, something like that

I recently switch from mugen to xb9, I am really happy with the car, but only have run it once.
of course I need to work with my suspension set up, I used the stock set up.

Now Should I be Worry?

I dont want to spent time and money making mod,off course I can drill original piston etc, but I would like run my Xb9 pure xray machine, I just have purchased all springs (808) available, I did not test all yet and I am waiting for the new ones

My Question in this Official Forum is SHOULD I BE WORRY?
Any advice from official Drivers?
how the Xb9 should feel on the pit table?
Thanks in advance

Thanks for you replys, I really appreciate it
"If", but only "If"I was a Xray`s staff, I would be working in learning to users how setup properly their shock. why?
Because the xrays cars has bad reputation about their shock, and now they did a big improve in the shock and I think the people make a lot of modification before test completely the xray shock , but of course this is my opinion , and I really respect all that you are doing to improve your cars.
I will still working in the xray shock to find the right piston, oil spring combination to my local tracks and still talking with you in this way about it

Thanks
and goog race this week end

Hi.

Is there 3 different progressive springs? Silver (soft) and already for sale. 2 and 3 stripe springs Neo drivers got from XRAY. 2 is medium and 3 is hard?

Thanks

Yes that's it, we are actually working on different solutions, but that will be the new range.
