Most racers prefer their special kind of grease for this application. I myself fill the whole gearbox by about 1/3 with Liqui Moly "Long Time Grease". It will have a bit more resistance (when warm not really noticeable) but the gears last almost forever and it does not let water or dust in.
A little trick of mine is also to remove all the inner bearing shields so the bearings stay lubricated when the grease is thrown around.

Hi,

I would like knows if the new 2011 pinion gears anda bulkheads fits in the 2010 spec chassis 5mm+? And...exist an 2010>2011 conversion kit?! What parts I will need it?! Thanks!! Lander.

Hi,
i need help i am about to buy an xray xb808 spec 10 roller for 200e and i have a savox sc 0251 servo(willit fit as the steering servo as it is larger than others??) and i have a losi M26SS with a pullstart/rotostart.? will the engine and servo fit if no what are the parts needed or i remove pullstart from motor and buy a straterbox?(dont want to till now cause no money but next month yes)

Hi i dont own a xray but soon i will get my xray 808 11. I just have 1 question, do they break as easily as a hpi car dose?
