This question is for Alex and the Xray team.
I have been doing alot of thinking lately after attending a BTCC meeting here in the UK. I have always set the droop with the shocks/anti roll bars dis connected. But after talking to a few fellow racers Im starting to think this is wrong. I think it would be better to set the droop with everything connected just as the car is on the track ??? Im wondering how the top drivers set theres and there reasons for doing so.
Also I would normaly use the Hudy setup system to set the camber, but I also think it would be better to set the camber with the race wheels on the car and use a camber plate against the side of the wheel this way as before you are measuring it as it would be on the track. I would be very interested in the views of Alex and the xray team.

I set my droop with shocks and anti-roll bars connected. The shocks will press the arms down slightly.

I set my camber with the HUDY gauges, as the race wheels sometimes are warped and you will have a hard time to set the camber correctly. I use -0.5mm more camber on the gauges than I would use with the normal camber gauge (107750). When you use the normal camber gauge, it's a good idea to use set-up wheels too since these will give the exact result, unlike with the normal wheels like I wrote above.

Thanks Alex I thought you might say that, so on all your setup sheets your droop settings are taken with the shocks /roll bars on. One thing I noticed is if I set my car to 5 front droop and 4 rear with the shocks and roll bars removed. Then put the shocks and roll bars back on and measure the droop settings again they will be different. so if I copied one of your setups but set my droop like I always have done with the shocks removed my droop settings will be different to yours ?? Thanks for coming on here and answering our questions :D

Hi, this question is also for Alex or the xray team.

I know that changing droop on one end of the car mainly affects the opposing end either on entry or exit. I normally run 6 and 5 droop, but what happens if you change it to 5 and 4 adding droop equally front and back, does it make the car roll more, give it more grip or perhaps make the car easier to drive?
