XRAY - Model racing cars

I see the XT8e Prototype shown on the xray page. When is this going to be released to us?
The De[artment of Domestic Tranquility has somewhat approved the purchase of a new kit this year. I do NOT wish to drop major coin on another kit only to have the one I WANT come out a short time later. I already own an XT8-09 in the Nitro version. I think it a smart purchase, if Im going electric, to buy the XT8e so my parts and accessories will all interchange.

I suppose I could get the 8o8e but don't really want a buggy. I like trucks better.
