New to the Rx8

Hi guys I just purchased a rx8 from a guy online for $90,and I want to get it running.I just purchased a Nova Rossi 35+21 to replace the old engine that didn't work.What parts do I need to get to get the engine to line up with the spur gears.The old engine is bigger than the .21 so the parts of it don't work on the new engine.Everything else on the car is in perfect condition.I just need the parts to get the engine lined up.Thanks for any help given

You are sure you have bought a RX8?

Every engine mounting is the same so the 35+ must fit as well, Maybe it is better to show us a picture of what you have and how far the gears are not lined up.

At this moment I can only imagine you have bought a Collari 35+ engine (with a gold/yellow colored head), some models have a longer shaft with which the shaft extension endpiece is not needed.

I'm positive its a rx8 the guy had put a .28 power racing engine on it,that's why the engine don't fit. I emailed team xray the pictures of the engine and the mounts and they let me know that's why the motor mounts weren't working with the 35+21.Ive been in the hobby for 7 years now.I looked at these cars on you tube and they look very fast so when the chance came up for me to get one I did,and team xray confirmed its a rx8.I need to buy the right motor mounts and the rest of the parts I need to put on the engine.

THATS NOT A XRAY RX8.
THATS A PICCO.
I think its a older picco speed or integra :!:

It's not a Picco but an EDAM EXER, I recognized it from the fuel tank.

You are absolutely right I don't know why they told me it was a rx8.I even sent a email to team xray with pics and they gave me the part numbers need for the car.Even the guys at the hobby shop told me it was a rx8.Well guy I truly apologize for being wrong about the car, and thanks for all your help.

Light should have come on for $90 couldn't sell it for $25 now I've been pretty lucky I've bought a lot of things on eBay but 90% of the people I know

Sold as Edam (XR8), Protech (VXR8 and VXS8), Hobbypeople XR8 and many more brandnames, this is no Xray RX8.

2 weeks ago I did sell my VXR8 for just 75 euro without engine and clutch, It was outdated and not a good car to race with, just standing still had no use and lucky someone wit already 3 of these cars wanted a 4th one.

On www.rctech.net is a large topic about the Edam car.

Soloartist I thought I was getting a good deal on the car,and when I googled power racing the xr8 came up.The engine and the pipe have power racing on it so I figured it was my luck day.Now I'm stuck with this trash.Well you win some and then you loose some and this time I lost lol!!!!!!
