Alex, is it true you were using the new 2.0mm chassis for the Snowbirds.
If so did you also run the 1.6mm top deck and how did the chassis effect the handling?

Alex is now in Gran Canaria. He used 2.5 chassis with 2mm top deck. In my opinion with low profile tires like Jaco or LRP, standard chassis is better. I was on the race last weekend where we used LRP tires and 2.5 chassis was better as I had better steering and response. I was using standard top deck but I was missing slightly in-corner steering so I changed to 1.6 top deck and car was perfect than. I improved 0.1 sec per lap with the 1.6 top deck.

2mm chassis is very good for low traction and for super high traction because car traction roll less. Plus 2mm chassis is better for high profile tires like RIDE

I think it can work well on asphalt.

Hey Alex,

I know this setup is probably old news by now but I've using it consistently with pretty good results... Can you offer some general recommendations to maybe tighten the rear of the car only just a little bit? I've tried the mid upper rear links and/or wheel shims and both seem to compromise the feel of the car... I also travel to different tracks in the area and would like to inquire on how to adjust this setup to accomodate say a lower traction track that builds to med-hi to hi traction throughout the day? Maybe just to generally loosen or tighten the car in a balanced fashion? Thanks for the input!....
