what changes did you make to the xb9 reno to create more traction and still keep the car easy to drive?

Please could you also let us know what size flywheel is used on the XB9?

Thanks

Hi Reno

Can you tell us about your experience with the XB9 shocks?
What is your base setup and why?...

Awesome to have you in the team btw. :)

Regards
Lukas

Well got to drive the new car on Saturday alog with greg hill and must say can't wait to race it now the car is so much better in the air and on landings can't really say if it gives more or less grip than the 808 as it was on frozen astro at ndor in the uk and there was just no grip with any car and any tire but the difference on bumps jumps and landings is massive

Hi guys

I did many tests since Padova on both grippy and slippery tracks.
As the set-up sheet is not fully operational yet, I post it here as a picture. That's the best set-up I found for low-speed and slippery track.

Yes, I think this set-up can be used as a really good basis everywhere to start with!

Now here is the set-up I was using in Pierrefeu. The track was super high grip and high speed. Not fitting all the tracks, but the conditions we could meet during big Euros events for example.

Hey Reno,

Just wondering if you had chance to measure the inside dimensions of the XB9 receiver box yet?

Also I see on these setup sheets that the spring part numbers are the same as the 808 is this correct. That would be great if we didn't have to a buy new complete set of springs. But I didn't think that would be possible with the bigger shocks.

thanks

I tried both layer down and straight shocks. It seems with the roll bars settings and tires I was using, I felt the car was "floating" a bit too much when the shocks were not like this. In this position, I feel the car is turning faster, and you can get better corner speed out of it. Yes, the 808 springs fit the XB9 as the outside diameter of the ride height screw on the shock is the same.
