Hi
I have a little problem what to chose
LRP(or Nosram) 6200 Big Mama or Cs Electronics 6000 70C?

I know that a lot of people have those Big mamas and a lot of top drivers too
But cs just dont give away their stuff so thats the point way top drivers dont use them

Do you know something about them?
Can you tell me something about those lipos?
Advantages and disadvantages?

Regards

CS Electronic LiPo batteries are by far the best I have ever had. I have the 5400mAh 50/100C silver protect ones and after 25 chargings they still are total equal in data being 2S2P tough. They hold their voltage that perfect that there're just .000V to .002V difference after the 25 chargings. And that stands for both of my batteries. I really use them hard in training often driving them for 25 to 30 minutes with zero boost 10.5T. They keep their full power for at least 15 minutes even with some timing. If ever, I would select between CS Electronic and Orion. I mean I could tell you a lot but just try them and feel their power and long term performance. :-) BTW they are much lighter than the competition (up to 20g to other high-end LiPo batteries and up to 100g to budget ones).

Hi,

about LRP (and then Nosram, too, I guess) I just can say that their products MUST be great having an eye on the result sheets. But I don't know anything about their long term performance.

@ Stanley:
I charge them with 1C, always store them at 3,85V per cell and completely charge them just before usage.

@ flo0206:
I use shrink tubes around my CS because this is the ultimate protection at hard crashes as the force gets shared all over the hull which prevents a hardcase to pop up. I don't have any clearance problems ('10 model) even with the shrink tube around. The height of the 5400mAh is 25.25mm with the shrink tube.

Because my charger's limit is 6A and/or 70W. It's the Multiplex LN-6015 EQU. Brilliant and precise but 'small'. I think even at trackside you won't need more than 2C charging speed and those silver protect ones are certificated being save and constant up to 5C. 5C may shorten their long term performance but not their effective performance. 2C doesn't hurt an high quality pack of today.

Why stress the battery? If you have two batteries you get along every race without needing to charge it with more than 1C? Even GM proposes to extend battery life time to charge only 4,10-4,15 per cell. I do this with my new 6200mAh 60C and I dont see a difference to my friends you has the same battery but charges 4,2V.
