so just to clarify tony does that mean that there is no problems with actually fitting the 16 tooth pinion with regards to motor adjustment and if so what spur is that with thanks very much.

It means 16 with 87 spur will fit.

What are we looking at in 64 pitch.....about a 112 spur gear?

Part number for hard arms????? People running the original factory kit were running hard arms at the snowbirds...

not sure i know what the internal ratio is??

Internal ratio is 1.7 so 87/16 gives you 9.24

But you can get a bigger spur on say;;89/90 possibly

Sofar 87 is the biggest I've tried and that was assumed in the car's design. I think any bigger is asking for trouble.

lol jolly....I have your answers.... stack washers under the bulkheads until the spur gear of your choice fits ....then take the battery straps and mounts from your fk before you sell it...bolt them together ..wrap em with a lil tape. ...you got your battery strap....everyones happy

Everything XRay have done they have done for a reason.

You try designing a car which takes 4-10 places in the A at the snowbirds! If you design n produce a car which does, then ill take everythiong back ive said! but for now-Stop monaing mate and just enjoy the fact that you will have a new car to play with.

another question thats in my intresst, i heard some rumors about the new GP3700 Cells cause of their size they wont fit in some current car like the HPI Pro 4!
What´s with the FK´05 and if they fit what´s with the 3300 Cells? Do they fit also?
